What’s Next?
Once you have completed this thorough branding checklist two things will happen.
1. You will gain a better understanding of yourself and your personal brand.
2. You will have a thorough understanding of your goals and the path you plan on taking to achieve your goals.
The Biggest Mistake In Personal Branding
One of the biggest mistakes I have noticed over the years when it comes to personal branding is that the individual doesn’t even have a proper understanding about themselves. Seriously, how are you supposed to sell someone on “You” and your expertise when you don’t even know yourself?
Personally, I found that completing the above exercise was a crucial step in my personal branding journey. For example, my biggest mistakes when it came to blogging was that I didn’t understand my niche, specific expertise and personal goals. Thus, breaking my personal brand down into small sections gave me a better understanding, structure, and direction for the future.
