31 Life-Changing Books That I Read In 2017
Another Year Of Reading Is Over
It’s finally done.
The year of 2017 was jam packed but it was definitely a great year for crushing some books! (*Nerd Alert*)
I started 2017 with a very ambitious reading goal because the year before I read over 40 books. So I wanted to give myself more of a challenge thus I decided to make my reading goal for 2017, over 50 books.
Reviewing My 2017 Reading Goal
I have to admit I was kind of crazy when I made this reading goal especially since I was entering the final year of my undergrad. So as you have probably guessed by now, I wasn’t able to successfully complete this reading goal. But that’s fine, not all difficult goals will be completed the first time around.
But although I wasn’t able to hit my actual reading goal, I am still happy with the number of books that I finished because it is still a substantial number. Life gets busy sometimes and my last year of University was definitely a very busy time, therefore, I am very satisfied with what I was still able to achieve.
So I am happy to share that in 2017 I was able to read more than 30 books, 31 to be exact!
The Books That I Read In 2017
Over the last few weeks, I have received many questions from people in regards to the books that I read in 2017 and my favorite reads from that list. So I decided that I should simply make a list of all 31 books that I read in 2017 for anyone that is curious about what I read or anyone that is looking for an interesting book to read.
I know some people have been asking me for specific recommendations, so I will definitely provide some book recommendations in the near future. But for the time being, I will just share with you the 31 books I read in 2017 which will give you an idea of the genres I indulged in.
Thus, in no particular order, the following is a list of the books that I read in 2017.

A Year Of Reading Awaits
I can honestly say that I read some of my all-time favorite books in 2017. But honestly, there are so many other fantastic books that are just sitting on my bookshelf waiting to be opened. So I am looking forward to reading some spectacular books and literature in 2018.
In addition, my reading goal for 2018 is to read more than 50 books which was my goal this year (2nd time is the charm, right?). Although this is a substantial amount of books I feel it is definitely doable as long as I add reading to my daily routine.
So I am looking forward to a year filled with books and I challenge you to set an ambitious reading goal in 2018 too!
Tweet me @iambradthompson if you end up reading any of these books, I would love to hear your opinion!
